श्रियं वासय मे कुले
let prosperity dwell in my family — Sri Suktam, Rigveda
Design Review · For Founders · August 2026

Namaste 🙏 This is the working design direction for the Shriyam app — live Hindu priests from India, performing poojas with devotee families in the USA. Start with 1 and 2. Everything is interactive: click, drag sliders, and let the animated screens run for thirty seconds before judging them.

01

The Booking Flow

All five screens, start to finish: home sanctum → choose a slot → sankalpa details → offer & confirm → confirmation. Use the ‹ › arrows.

02

Living Atmospheres

The backgrounds that breathe: aarti glow, incense smoke, jali light, kumkum powder, and the 3D flower-and-akshata shower. Try “✦ Utsava — All Three.”

Day & Night Variants

The chosen theme pair — Temple Maroon nights, Sandalwood days — with 16 mix-and-match tunings of each.

Chosen: E1 + D1
04

Pattern Motifs

The earlier stencil direction — temple skyline (Kashi · Madurai · Tirumala), lotus mandala, kolam weave, samagri. Superseded by 02, kept for comparison.

The written system: colors, the divine type trio (Cormorant Garamond · Eczar · Inter), motifs, voice, and the do/don't rules.

What we need from you

  1. Does the booking flow (01) feel divine yet professional — something you'd trust with your family's Chavithi pooja?
  2. In Atmospheres (02): Utsava, Aarti+Kumkum, or something calmer for the home screen? Try the strength slider.
  3. Anything that feels off for elders — text size, clarity, reverence?
  4. Reply on our WhatsApp group with screen numbers (e.g., “02 — Utsava at 80%”).
